Congrats Uncle Cliff

I got all dressed up tonight for Uncle Cliff and Aunt Jennifer's engagement party. Dad says I was hit. But then again so was the ring....good job Uncle Cliff!!

Mom made me put on my PJs because the party went so late. How embarassing??

How big is baby?? So Big....

Just like we say at Mommy and Me yoga, I am getting sooo big!!! Go Daddy...gave me a bath today and took my picture!

Hayli and Me!

I love love love my friend Hayli. Mommy thinks we could almost pass for siblings.

Hayli is going to be a great big sister someday. She just has to decide if she wants a baby brother or a baby sister!! (It changes every time Mommy asks her!)

Drew goes to work!

This week I visited the working world. After visiting Mommy, Papa, and Gigi's work, it was on to Gabby's.

All the ladies loved me and I flirted with my big smile! It was a great time but I don't think I am ready for the working world yet...take me home to Daddy!!

Cousins

Ashton and I played together today. She showed me the goats and cows. I can't wait until I get big like my cousin and can run and play!

Mom says cousins are important. She says you play, grow, change and get in trouble with them! Mom says as I get older I may see them less...we may be separated by distance or circumstances but when we get together again it will be like we were never apart. Mom told me she wishes I would have met her cousin Ray. She says I would have loved his sweet spirit and smile that never ended. Mom says she misses being young like me when life wasn't as confusing and sad...when she didn't have to experience heartbreaking things like war.

Working Mom / Stay at Home Dad

The title describes our current situation as Jared takes the next month off to bond with baby Drew and I head back to work. How lucky are we?? Jared describes last week as enjoyable yet demanding! My week was miserable in the morning and crazy fun in the afternoon (I worked half days...in the morning!)

Funny I always thought of myself as a "working mom" without a doubt....and I am....however the transition is much harder than I could have ever imagined. Of course I don't worry about Andrew being taken care of...I just miss him more than I can describe. I still love my job and have worked very hard since graduating to get where I am. But right now there is no where I would rather be than with my son. I guess this is what everyone means when they say mothers are torn between two worlds!!

First Immunizations

I weigh 11 lbs and 6 oz...congrats Heather!! My visit with Dr. Amy was fun until the end. Daddy held me still and the nurse gave me shots!!! Owww! I think it hurt Mom more than me though. I didn't feel very good today and had a fever...101.5! A little Tylenol and TLC and rest and I was good as new in the morning!
